    Football Manager 2011

Post by Fabio MVP on Mon Jun 07, 2010 2:38 pm

    Hi guys,

I wanted to start this one as I got bored of FM10 a bit, even though I play my three saves (Man Utd, York City and FK Sarajevo) that I began on 10.3 from time to time.

So, discuss here anything related with FM11.

The only thing I heard for FM11 so far is that we are going to have mnore control over the stadiums. I read that at SI forums couple a days ago.

    Cheers.

More control over stadiums? Nice Smile
I hope we'll get to see it a little earlier than last year. And that all bugs be squished. Like the offside-bug.
I also hope that we get more interaction-options with players, fans, board, staff and the FA.

Much the same as every version, a bug free release, or as bug free as possible anyway. Although having said that, I dont go on the FM (Fucking Mugs) forum anymore, so I may not notice any of the bugs lol!

Hope it'll be a bit more than "continue - play". That's how FM10 is for me really.

    More/better interaction with board/players/fans would've been awesome.
I wouldn't mind the interface being a bit more appealing. Having said that, i don't really have a bloody clue on how Razz

You're not alone bakerman. I'm here as well. The only problem i have is that i'm crap at using my creativity these days.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there. FM for me with 09, and particularly 10, feels a bit sterile. More like a chore rather than a game. I know it chases realisim, but without full realism then it can get boring.

Apparently FM11 is meant to have agents for players, which will offer another interaction option. Don't know about the increased staidum control though. I don't think the game really needs it.

    A list of 'leaked' features:

    - Release Date is Friday, October 29th 2010
    - Improved training options
    - More complex module for searching new players
    - Improved graphics and 3D view of the game
    - Introduction of football agents to the game
    - Playing games in evenings (so called night effect)
    - Differentiated weather conditions

/may not all be correct. Wink

Miles confirmed some of those are true and some are not. Also Jumping attribute is being reviewed for FM11.

Hopefully it will be improved this year. I mean, for example, every year they tell us "over 100 animations added". Looking at it from the big picture perspective, 100 isn't an awful lot.
